Student’s Prayer

Most loving Lord you are the source and fullness of all wisdom. I thank you for giving me a bright and powerful mind. Fill my mind with your light. Increase my memory power. Give me more concentration in my studies. Give me calmness of mind to overcome fear or despair whenever I meet with difficult situations. Let your divine presence in me inspire and strengthen me to bring out the best from my studies and exams.
Lord, enlighten my mind to develop all my talents for your glory and for the service of my fellow beings.
Lord, bless my dear ones, parents, brothers and sisters, teachers and classmates so that they too may be successful in their efforts and come out with flying colours in their life.

Dear Lord and Father of all,

Thank you for today.
Thank you for ways in which you provide for us all.
For Your protection and love we thank you.
Help us to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about to learn. Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write. Guide us by your eternal light as we discover more about the world around us.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus.
